Born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, PA, Alexis Russell cultivated her passion for architecture at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Building upon her expertise, she later obtained a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and Development, equipping her with the skills to lead and innovate within the industry.

In 2015, she played a pivotal role in the establishment of Russell GC, a general contracting firm founded with a mission to deliver exceptional construction services while emphasizing structural stabilization and sustainable historic preservation. Recognizing the need for specialized consulting in the built environment, Visu was created to offer expert guidance and strategic solutions. With a strong commitment to heritage conservation and sustainable development, Visu continues to support communities by preserving their architectural and historical integrity
